As part of ongoing preparations for the RP Youth Team’s upcoming stint in the 20th FIBA U-18 Basketball Championships for Junior Men, SBP Executive Director – Noli Eala arranged for three outstanding international youth teams to come to our shores and play against Nokia Pilipinas in a short but action-packed tournament which has been dubbed; The 1st Nokia – Manila Youth Invitational Basketball Tournament.

 

Invitations were sent and the first 3 to respond has proven to be quite a lineup! The national youth teams of Chinese-Taipei, Lithuania and no less than The People’s Republic of China will see action and measure each other’s mettle from August 14 to 17 at the Cuneta Astrodome (Aug. 14, 16 & 17) and the Philsports Arena (ULTRA, Aug. 15).--press kit
