TAO Corp pledges P80M to SBP Youth Programs Print E-mail

headline.jpgChalk another one to the list of Philippine Basketball supporters, Tao Corporation President Jun Sy, an avid fan of basketball, recently pledged P80 Million as support for 3 year program of SBP’s National Basketball Training Center for the NBTC and the PR National  Youth Team.

“Tao Corporation is excited to be part of a dream to make Philippine Basketball a source of pride. We believe in the leadership of Manny Pangilinan”. Said Jun Sy.

The Executive Committee was officially formed during the joint SBP/TAO Strategic Planning held last December 19, 2007 at the Ascott Hotel, Makati The committee is chaired by BAP-SBP Executive Director Patrick Gregorio with members Jun Sy, Val Victa and Ito Lopa of Tao, Gerard Penaflor of Nokia, NBTC’s Eric Altamirano, and RP Youth’s Franz Pumaren.
