I was born on the 9th day of October 1990 at Sta. Ana, Manila to Mario and Rowena de Guzman. I am the youngest of three siblings. As a young toddler, all I ever dreamed about is to make good in my chosen sport of basketball. Just like any ordinary kid, I learned the sport in the streets where I grew up. Constant shuttling of homes, all located within Mandaluyong City exposed me to the competitive side of basketball.  I have joined sports leagues from which I have received awards such as the MVP, Athlete of the Year and the Most Promising Player, respectively. At present, I am the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman in our barangay, Harapin ang Bukas at the same time I am the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation vice-president of Mandaluyong City. As for my college degree, I am taking up BSBA Computer Application at De La Salle College of St. Benilde. I am also a player of our varsity team. As of now, it is my immediate goal to land a slot as a regular member in the RP Youth Team, which could be my stepping-stone to making it big in the professional league. I am confident enough that with constant reminders from my parents and friends, and never-ending guidance from the Divine Providence, I can successfully hurdle whatever obstacle I may encounter along the way. Most importantly, I strongly believe that through my determination and passion for this sport, I will be able to attain this childhood dream. MARK 11:24
